Converting Traffic Into Leads
This is the biggest problem for most PPC marketers. Low
conversions. No sales. First off be honest with yourself.
Should you walk away from a dead market? Maybe people are
not looking for it online e.g. it is available offline in
local shops for example.
Did you really put in the work (the marketing) to get
the results? Are you approaching the market correctly.
Some reasons for low conversions
- Your keywords may be too broad, too narrow or
wrong all together. Make sure your
keywords are relevant to your offer/product. Some
terms may get you a lot of traffic but no conversions, it's
best to cull them than stop your entire
campaign.
- You message (marketing) must match your audience
i.e. your sales letter.
- Your offer may not be what your audience want. What
value are you bringing to your customer e.g.
does your offer cost too much. Maybe you need to offer
something for free first.
Your offer/product may not be the best in your marketplace.
You just need to be the best. You need to evaluate all
your competitors best offers, take the best benefits
of each of your competitors and make a better
offer and product.
