Increase Web Site Traffic from Google

Ranking on the first page of google for your target keywords is obviously the ultimate desire of every web site owner. The problem is that when someone finds something that works (such as blog and ping), then everyone else jumps on the band wagon and abuses the system. In case you have not already noticed blog and ping no longer works unless you are an established site. If you are a new site it will work against you as google is on to these spam type tactics.  The best advice I can give for ranking high on google is to play by the rules. Maintain good useful content, register your domain name for at least 5 years and regularly update your website.
